- Went in the US Air Force at 18 that or get drafted, worked on 1 & 2 engine jets in Alaska & Luke Air base, AZ. Parted company with
uncle Sam in 1968 banged around Mojave for a while working on
F86's then on to Anchorage, AK to work on helicopter then on to Argentina for 2 Year's then to Asia
in a C130A with 2 Bell 205's Helicopters (civil version of the UH1-H that all knew in Vietnam) worked all over SE Asia and lived in
Burma for awhile.
Was on a 747 on the way to SFO when the war was over.
Went back to Alaska and worked for awhile then went to work for
Erickson Air Crane in Central Point
OR did that for a few years working
on S64 Sky Cranes but got tried of moving alot so I went to work for
Heli-Jet in Eugene, OR and Borlang
Sweden.did that for 15 years and went out on my own working on T53 helicopter engines all over the place but still based in Oregon
Did get married to to my high school girl friend in Argentina on St
