- My first car was a '32 Ford 5W Model B in 1953. That was followed by a '47 Coupe and then with a long string of the "Dreaded Chevrolet's".
Got my next '32 Coupe in 1973, then a '32 Tudor in 1988 which I still drive and another '32 "something" under construction now.
I've lived mainly in Kansas but also in OK, AR, WY and CO but returned to my old home town of Kingman here in Kansas, about 40 miles west of Wichita. We recently moved to Independence, Kansas. Some of the my car highlights include: Great Bend NHRA Nat's '55, one of the original members Cheyenne Rods & Customs '72, Great American Race 18 years, (finished 2nd twice, never won), one of the three founders of VCRA, Vintage Car Rally Ass'n, www.vintagecarrally.com
