- Never had any real strong interests, other than car stuff. My earliest memories are centered around cars. My father raced on local round tracks and had a flathead Merc powered '30 Model A roadster for the street. His first new car was a '53 Ford (purchased when I was born) - it's only accessory was the V8 engine. I've always enjoyed the chassis fabrication and body repair phases of car building.
