Default 1940 Ford Gross vehicle weight?

What is the gross vehicle weight of a 1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor Sedan? I have not been able to located that info in ALL the books/info I have.......

With my 200#'s in the car I have the following.

Front 1740
Rear 1820
Total 3560

Flathead with corvette rear and stock mustang front crossmember.

Go to your nearest land fill, highway weigh station, scrap metal place and ask them to let you weigh your vehicle. They are thrilled to do it. Call the highway patrol and ask where the nearest weigh station is. I don't buy weighing the front, then the back, and then adding the two together. I don't see how that could work.

Lawson,
I did go to the landfill (garbage) and they were happy to weigh my car for free. Drove onto the platform and weighed only the front wheels, then onto the scale for a full weigh. Finally just the rear wheels. Viola! Add the front and rear weights and you have exactly what the whole car weighed.
