Default Let's Have A Car Show...

It’s cold, it’s snowing, it’s miserable and it’s Spring. I yearn for the warmer days and car shows.
How about a car show right here on the Fordbarn?

Post your favorite picture(s).

This one hasn't been started since last fall. It soon will be awaken.

This one is apart again in my shop and it has just been too cold to work on it.

I like Texas. I can remember the horrible dust storms at Amarrillo, but that has all changed now.

Good luck with the knee replacement. They say it is wonderful after it heals. I am looking forward to the Gallipolis show and your `36 coupe.

37 Coupe,
I checked the Internet and they have not posted a date yet. As soon as I get a date I will put it on the Fordbarn. It is a great show. It is held at the City Park under the big shade trees. You will be welcome to join other Fordbarners there.

That's our `37 Chevy in the background too...

Model T
Model A
V-8

I owned the following Cadillacs:

1971 Cadillac Sedan deVille
1973 Cadillac Coupe deVille
1976 Cadillac Coupe deVille

My brother Mike's 1941 Buick Series 90 6P Sedan; I was driven to my wedding in this car. Awesome, but drives like a truck (don't tell Mike); Ford V-8 is way more fun to drive.

I always loved the look of the 1938 Fords.
A 1938 and a Model 40 are goals for the future for me. And maybe another 37 too.

Hey Shadetree,
Well, felt so bad thinking of all you guys in the snow and your cars imprisoned by wintry conditions, that I felt it necessary to give you hope that things can and will get better! So, here are pics of my 'victory garden' that I started couple weeks ago and todays pic of my '36 just waiting for me to finish mowing the yards !

Notice the ford...'scarecrow' to keep the crows away. Hey, it works !

It just warms the cockles of my heart to see your car next to flowers and green grass. Still waiting for ours here in Utah but they're starting to come. My absolute favorite season of the year.

I visited George on Friday. He's the man I bought my '50 Ford from in 1998. He had the Ford for 43 years, but it sat for the last 26 of those years. He's the one with the full beard, in Westminster, Md.

My 47 RHD Super Deluxe B'cpe. Owned 1979 to 1993. Parked outside the old FOMOCO factory at Seaview, Lower Hutt. The place is now a Hardware retail outlet but the original building is still intact. Earlier pic is in 1979 when I got it with evidence of an "aguement" with a gate post on the front fender.

Now well on the way to completing the red 48 as per the avatar.

Just added my other car 64 1/2 260 Mustang imported from SoCal in 2010. Originally came from La Jolla San Diego.
