Tried to post this tqwo days ago,but apparently my fingers don't do
what my weak brain tells it.

Two B carburetorrre I am rebuilding. The GAV Needle in one slide in and Screws in Just like the Zenith 1 and 2's I have built. The second B carb, the needle goes in about 1/2 way and hits a spring of some kind. Cant see it - just feel it. The spring will compress about 3/16" and the Needle will not engage any threads in the hole.

Not had much dealings with B carb and this puzzled me. What gives?? ken
