Victoria Seats
I have attached three pics of the seats that were in my car when I bought it. I am not sure that they are original since the rear seat "rest" do not adjust like I have seen on other cars and they are set too narrow to rest on the center bracket and also on the wood rails. These brackets are 13.5" c.c. and appear that they should be closer to 17". There are no other holes in the wood base ... other than where tacks were located.
Are these the original seats / and rear rests ? I added the foam in the springs to give the seats a little more firm support. Dave Bockman Visalia CA |

Re: Victoria Seats
The seat are not Victoria ,and I do not see anything on on the seats that is correct for a victoria. the body is an early one with the early seat brackets and they are correct.

Re: Victoria Seats
The seats nor any of the parts are not Briggs, Murray or Ford...They look like they were made up by a re constructor. The floor brackets and the cantilever bracket on the sill and the pan (maybe) are original. What is with the shifter? Swoff

Re: Victoria Seats
Interesting seats. The springs are constructed just like Ford springs. I'd have to guess the seats were made for some other make (non-Ford) by Murray or Briggs sometime between 1932-1934.

Re: Victoria Seats
they are similar but not Victoria, and they were only used on the later seats and only on the passenger seat. the early seat had a plywood bottom and a rod that went through a bracket on the front edge of bottom of the seat and through the angle brackets on the floor. the left seat could be ajusted by putting the rod in one of the three holes in the angle bracket. the right seat was not ajustable.
