Default Off center head??

Hey Guys,
I just noticed on my B head I just installed that the bolt holes were all drilled a little off center. It snugged up fine but it places the whole head off center by maybe 1/16". The gasket will follow the studs but what are your thoughts of clearance or possible leaks? Any others had this situation as I'm sure it's not the only head drilled like this.
Thanks,
Pete

Pete, You needed to check the gasket against the head before installation. It is very possible that the head casting is fine but the bosses for the studs are slightly off? This is most likely what happened and everything should be OK. Either run it as is and see, or remove the head and check it out, I would run it.

Jim,
Appreciate the thoughts. I was thinking that the whole thing would have been scrapped if it were bad. Ford Script,C on head and date so it must be original. I'm gonna run it and see.
Thanks!
Pete
