I made the adjustment and my brake lights are working properly again. Thanks for the help above, it's truly appreciated.

McGarret, I bet it just needs adjustment. I wonder if the adjustment changes as the brakes wear affecting the brake switch.

None of the vendors seem to have the US Made ones is stock anyway?

When you use the term "adjustment", do you mean to change the installation order of the washers to actuate the switch correctly? Please explain.

That, or you need to slightly bent the metal tab it engages with. Once open, work the rod back and forth and watch what's going on. You can hook a multimeter to the electrical contacts and check it while moving the rod.

They have been out for awhile. I thought about getting a few of the cheapies and modify them for folks that don't want too, or cant themselves due to lack the proper tools.
