Default 38 Lincoln Zephyr

I apologize for being a bit off topic, but I have a friend who has just bought a 38 LZ sedan. Will be needing some parts....an inlet manifold...cast iron?? and maybe a right side aluminum head. A pair of distributor terminal caps. Will also be needing a gas gauge. Any of you guys have any of this stuff...or can suggest somewhere where we might be able to get it. Many thanks,
Gordon

Check out www.LZOC.org, the Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club. You will find a ton of info as well as parts suppliers that can help with the '38 LZ.

Thanks for that Vic. Have a Merry Christmas, and all the best for the new year.

I believe the manifolds were aluminum. I restored an absolute correct carburetor for a 38, but it went away a couple of years ago.

The Zephyr intake manifolds are aluminum as were the original heads however, there were problems with the heads and a lot of them were replaced with cast iron by Ford. Our ’39 LZ has the cast iron heads.

Thanks Vic, that's interesting. I didn't know they had head problems.
