Glad to see that you got the hang of posting pictures ! Keep 'em coming ! I seem to remember seeing a roadster at Don Garlits Museum, in Ocala, Florida, with a V12 Lincoln engine. You should make a trip ! MIKE |

Re: 1932 Hot Rod Lincoln V12
Referencing my earlier question, I see that you are using TWO master cylinders for your brakes. This is not uncommon in racing circles, but when employing TWO master cylinders, a device called a balance bar is usually incorporated so that you can tailor the degree of pressure applied to EACH cylinder (front / rear) as required to "tune" the front / rear bias. I was just really curious if you have any pics that emphasize your M/C linkage(s). DD

Thank you! I'd really like to see how you've done it. Some of your ideas, along with the workmanship on your chassis, is beautiful. Can't wait for the pics of the M/C linkage. DD

Beautiful car. Did you build the intake or is there one being cast?

Engine break in is going fine. Just need to drive it more. Need to mess with the carbs still I think. Runs ruff until about 160 degrees water temp. With this heat it is not that much of a problem currently as it gets up to temp quick!

Re: 1932 Hot Rod Lincoln V12
Beatiful job, I am also putting a V12 in a '32 (coupe) and this has been an inspiration. My dad restored a '40 Lincoln and we have always had V12 stuff laying around. I ask him to help me build this hot rod and that engine came to mind. He has been a restorer for 50 years but building a vintage rod has him excited. Let me know if you have any advice. thanks, Rod Y.

I am not able to take good pictures of the master cylinder from under the car. We have updated our web site for the 32 Hot Rod and it should be up soon. When it is I will let you know so that you can visit it and see the way I had installed it. Frenchy |
