Question Which Door Escutcheons

33 Ford 5W Deluxe: I'm shopping for new escutcheons. Are the DOOR handle covers different from the WINDOW crank handles? Spring loaded vs not?

Experiences, suggestions, thoughts, Part Numbers?

The springs fit behind the door panels. If you have a Deluxe you will order the escutcheons( same ones for the door handles and window handles) and handles for the Deluxe car. The main difference between the standard and deluxe handles is the knob color on the window cranks. You might want to get catalogs from Dennis Carpenter and Bob Drake as they have some great photos and illustrations of the parts.

I've got both catalogs (and a few others); ordering the marble color crank knobs. I removed one set of handles and familiarized myself with the R&R. Knowing the escutcheons are the same for both door and window handles helps.

I believe that Vintique is the only supplier of the 33-34 escutcheons, even the ones sold by other vendors. They used to make them of stamped brass and nickel plated but I believe they are now stainless steel.
