Higher compression and a bigger carb are the two quickest, easiest, and cheapest way tdo get more HP. Cam would be #3.

97 strom or a ford 94 are too much carb,you would have to modify them. ken ct. You dont get something for nothing,theres always a cost.

You know carbs more then me but the only thing I had to do is put some bigger jets in it. Yes I know I said bigger jets. My intake has small runners and runs real cold and was running real lean. It makes good power but gets shitty gas mileage


I now run a 1" carb spacer

I think the Strombergs 81' may be possible to get in my country, because these carbs came factory in the Flatheads...

81's came on 60 hp cars only
also bill stipe (spelling???) makes a different dist cam that gives you more dwell
supposed to be goof for a bit more hp

Yes is a picture from the web!!
In my country they could find the car with the flathead in very rusty condition. there are no culture about hot rodding, In many times could find a restored car, and the most wanted are a coupes.
