Tire mount for which models?
Can anyone help with which Ford model used this spare tire mount?
The casting number is A-1427 Thanks |

I looked in the Ford parts book and the parts data base on the MAFFI web site and neither had A-1427 listed. On the MAFFI site AA-1417 through AA-1445 are for AA. Are you sure that the number is 1427?

According to the Judging Standards (1985) no A-1427 is shown but A-1378 looks like the one pictured, that is, the four hole square, for mounting to the body and three hole with the curved plate to mount the spare tire of a late 28-29 Fordor 60A,60B, or 60C OR a Town Car. I'm just applying the Judging Standards to this photo. LRF
