closed cab wood
I,m fixing up a 28 closed cab pickup and have a question about three wood parts that I cant seem to find a home for.
Two are the same and are called roof rib rails and are about 1in wide and 3/4 in thick and about 3 feet long, they have screw holes in them. these dont match the roof ribs , The other wood part is about 3/4 thick and about 3ins high and is as wide as the steel seat base. I have a pic of an original cars seat base with what looks like this part installed but the one I have is longer. Is any one with a 28 ccpu may know where these parts go, Thanks Lawrie |

Re: closed cab wood
The larger piece is the support for the seat cushion springs. It is installed on edge. The two pieces with holes in them I believe retain the windlace above the doors. I am pasting in some picture I have that show the wood in place.
