Re: need to adjust clutch pedal
Got a Shop Manual ? It should be explained in there. No shop manual, then you should get one if your doing work on your car

Re: need to adjust clutch pedal
IIRC the only adjustment is at the throw out activator arm.

Re: need to adjust clutch pedal
I had trouble getting the required one inch of pedal free play. I had my wife hold the pedal down, and while unde rthe car I adjusted the rod until a .030 feeler gauge fit between the flywheel and the disc. End of problem, it stayed that way for years with no trouble, and always one inch of free play.

Re: need to adjust clutch pedal
Since no one else has replied I'll give it a shot. Hopefully you have a service manual for your car for the associated illustrations.
TOE BOARD CLEARANCE Before adjusting the clutch linkage you need to adjust the pedal toe board clearance by moving the clutch pedal rubber bumper that is attached to the pedal mounting bracket under the dashboard. Move the bumper up or down until the clutch pedal is the same distance from the floor as the brake pedal. CLUTCH PEDAL FREE PLAY Measure the pedal free play after adjusting pedal toe board clearance. If it is less than 1 to 1.25 inches: 1. Loosen the clutch pedal release rod lock nut and turn the adjusting nut until free travel (play) is within the specified limits. 2. Tighten the lock nut to secure your adjustment. The adjusting nut is located in the engine compartment attached to the equalizer bar between the equalizer bar and the release lever.
