Re: NP435 to flathead?
Ron, I'm not 4wd in the woodie. No transfer case involved. I have a lot going on like rebuilding the transfer case in my Ford/Toyota mutt, so it's hard for even me to keep track of what I'm working on. The big truck transmissions finally looked like overkill in the woodie and my focus is narrowing more towards the t5 from an S10. I have some feelers out on one from a '93. I understand the differences now with various years, electric speedo, ratios etc and looking like it will be the ford bolt pattern as well. I will not make my final decision til I pull the 3 speed outa the wagon and get a look-see. On the NP 435, T18/T19 front I still think it's a simple way to go synchro in the bigger trucks, and look fwd to attempting it someday.
