I'll be there, but without a Model A. we're going to fly.

Maybe it's just me, but I find it very odd that there is no main, or host hotel. That is something I enjoy, with all the after hours socialization and tire kickin. Instead everyone will be spread way out over 19 motels LINK. Registration will be miles away in a bank building and exhibits and seminars in a 4H building.

Mike I wondered that also. A host hotel makes it handy to have a lot of Model A folks in close proximity rather than spread out.

Re: 2016 MAFCA Natl'
Speaking from a person who is currently planning a regional meet, sometimes you have to take other things into consideration. A meet of this size might of mostly fit at another venue, but what if the town itself couldn't have handled a meet this size or if there wasn't another hotel besides the host. It could of also been based off of the cost of the venues. I know what when we went to the high country tour in '09, it seemed to be rather pricey and this tour seems to be a little cheaper (to what I remember).
I know that when I picked the town for the Texas Tour, I picked it because the town was small but had a venue big enough for what we needed. It had enough hotels that were willing to work with us on pricing, however there wasn't a single hotel that was big enough to be a "host" so i contracted out 3 separate hotels. Just go and make the best of it, that's what I always do. If you go into it with a negative attitude, you might as well stay home and save your money.
