August 10, 1918. Model year is 1918. This particular model year ran from August 1917, until December 31, 1918. 1919 model year started January 1, 1919

The serial number list by month, day, and year is in "Model T Ford: The Car That Changed the World" by the late Bruce W. McCalley

If you have a new Langs catalog, it has the serial numbers near the rear of the catalog.

The Lang's catalogue gives only the calendar years. Here are the calendar years and the model years together:

You will only know when the motor was built from that number -
The actual date of the vehicle is harder to identify
The motor might have been changed etc.

The only ones you know for sure from the serial number are from December 19, 1925 on. That's when they started numbering the frames. If the frame has the serial number you can go by that, even if the engine has been changed.
