Wanted 9" rear end 28 spline pig

I have a 1960 T-Bird with a bad pinon bearing. It makes noise under power, when I let off the gas it is quite.

I was wanting to just pull the 28 spline axles out and put in another pig.

Anybody modifying a 9" rear end and do not need the pig?

Anybody else had this problem? These rear ends have always been "bullet" proof.
