35 dasch paint

Anyone know the correct Maroon paint for the 35 standard coupe dash?

I have a Tudor Deluxe Touring, and while the standard car dash was Maroon, the Deluxe car was Metallic Taupe, which I bought from the Color Library, online. You can plug in the year and model of the the Ford you are looking for, and they will sell you the correct color in whatever type of paint you wish to use. They actually made my Metallic Taupe in a spray bomb can, and I bought 6 of them to paint my window garnish molding without having to use a spray gun or paint booth. I will admit, it's not a perfect match to the original paint left on the dash, but I figure with sunlight fading over the lifetime of the car, it's pretty close. Good Luck!

Dave, When I did my 35 standard dash I found some orignal paint on the back side and took it to my paint guy who matched it to a Valspar Sunthane # 333R1704D sunshades/red I think that is all the numbers on the can (paint spills).I asked them to take some of the shine out so not to be to blinding on the dash. I think its close to the original, may not be perfect but good for me. The original color was called coach maroon. Hope this helps.
