Default 31 Gas cap

My A came with a used gas cap in a box. The cap has Eaton stamped inside. Is this the original cap? The cork gasket is pretty died out. Here are the pics.

The judging standards states that in 1930 Eaton 2 piece caps were used up until mid 31. Then Stant radiator and gas caps were used

yes it is an original one piece Eaton cap, it looks like a pretty nice one at that. late 30 through the end of production. throw away the cork gaskets and get the correct leather one for the gas cap
