F1/F47 Defroster Hose
Forgot to ask this question in my last post: how are the two defroster hoses secured in an F1 or F47 pickup truck? These hoses were missing when I purchased my restoration project. Is there some type of clamping device? I have what I consider to be the most authentic hoses that I can source for this project.
Looked in my service manual and cannot find an answer. Thanks for your help. |

Re: F1/F47 Defroster Hose
Simply a push on fit. I haven't seen any clamp used with the fabric/wire duct hoses.

Re: F1/F47 Defroster Hose
My truck being original when restored... There is no clamp for the passenger side hose, but one big clamp mounted just above the 2 accelerator nuts that are inside of cab. Are you going to use an insulator pad on your firewall?
