Default 54 Mercury battery cable

Removed this cable off my Mercury today. Cable from the starter to the solenoid. Makes me wonder the condition of the rest of the wiring on the car.
Time for a new harness I think.

Now that is gnarly.

The GREENIE MEANIES.

Don't forget 6V cables are heavier gauge than 12V.

Yes, Zero or 1 gauge for 6v battery and starter cables. Not the small stuff.
