Brakes - early for 9"
I have a 9" big housing from a 58 F100 with 1 3/4" brake shoes. I would like to upgrade to 2 1/4" brake shoes by installing the backing plates and drums from a mid sixties vehicle with a 9". Has anyone tried this and found it to work? Thanks again! <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

Yes it will work. We used the backing plates and drums for a station wagon, they are wider thatn a car. also truck brakes are bigger. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
