Caption says Detroit 1942 war scrap drive; I'm guessing the truck is a '31? (pic is a bit fuzzy)

I found these two pics last night through the Kansas historical society archives...

They were dated December 13th 1927

Also this one showing the 20,000,000 Ford.

Note the movie camera in the Deluxe Phaeton and the Blind Back s/w right behind it.

I hunt for pictures on the internet all the time and I've gathered thousands of images featuring Model A's and AA's and that sort of stuff.

Sometimes I get lucky and the vehicle is the subject of the picture, prominently featured front and center to the camera. Someone's new pride and joy so important of a moment that it had to be captured forever.

But most times our A's are just another part of the scenery, the background of more important or impressive moments in time. It becomes a sort of child's hidden picture search when looking at broader topic images.

So, that being said, here are a number of images I like that have A's in them by coincidence. See if you can find the A's.

Ester Eddie over on the HAMB had posted these last two from a pack of photographs he saved from being thrown away.

WTSHNN, those are great pics of the KC dealership!
I really don't know that much but, that tall cab fordor/townsedan might be a coach built Taxi. Not to mention the uniform. lol
All its doors are long and they have 3 hinges and I’ve read where that was one of the differences of the taxi body. However that might just be relevant to the Ford (Briggs/Murray) body's..... All the standard Ford Taxi's I've seen didn't have such high windows or long doors.

That wishbone might be a tow-bar, made from a wishbone.
