Default That time has returned.............

I'm thinking of buying a few more Model A's. I'll know more a bit later tonight if I can.

Everyone needs a few more. I wanted one, ended up buying two. I wouldn't mind at least one more.

I restored a 1930 deluxe roadster. I thought l wouldn't ever have one. Growing up l had a 31 . But got married , then children. Car had to go. Now Kids , wife , gone . Did the roadster , then build 1931 boattail speedster and have another running chassis in the shield out back . Thinking of building a station wagon, will see. The old saying " ones good , twos great , threes ????" All I know you throw hundred dollar bills at then and they want more . But look at all the fun we as a group are having. Miff

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I've decided to wait a few days more before I buy a few more A's. The want, the will, the desire are all there, it's the numbers crunch thing that's not!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry about the number crunching. Go to your friendly banker and tell him you need a short term loan for a slightly used vehicle with low mileage. Problem solved!

They are only expensive when you are looking to buy. When trying to sell you realize they are not a good investment! Wayne

I sorta did that when I bought Sarah, I don't think my charm would work the second time. I did take the gal for a spin in Sarah though........afterwards.

Nah!! this time I'll wait till I have cash, next chance for that happening is Friday.

I like the "one easy payment" thing.
Used that system on both mine.

I really stretched it on mine. I had finally saved up enough to buy it, but it was in San Diego, I'm in Alaska. Didn't quite have enough to get it shipped. The shipper said: "No problem, we don't ask you to pay till it arrives in Alaska. As it turned out, the shipping took longer than I anticipated, and I had enough to pay the shipper when it arrived.

Then, the fun began. Like miff said (post #5):

I already bought the winning megamillions ticket so you're going to have to find another way to finance.

I personnally would like to down size. I've got two "A" roadsters & a '29
Chevy 2-dr coach. Not to long ago I placed the '31 roadster for sale here
on the 'Barn. I guess I asked to much (I did say "obo") for it, but no
interest. Eventually I hope to end of up with one super nice "A". For
some touring in my later years.

Any doubts you may have had about Ed's origin, this confirms he's from Chicagoland.
