Default Quail at a flea market.

I saw this at a flea market today, and wrote it off as a repro, but the detail on the bird is so much better than any Taiwan product I have seen.
The cap is also very suspect. I guess I am not an expert in this fowl. What do you guys think?

its a paper weight
theres an extra hole in the cap
its missing the base,
no telling how its broken from the top
it would cost a fortune to restore and plate just this part
and theres no guarantee you could find a bottom and be able to fix the broken hinge ,to make it useable
INMHO, id pass
