Re: Pop out Switch Help
I do not recommend a repro replacement ....try to find an original that has been restored by an reputable restorer... They are out there....sure ..more money but more reliable....repros are more like junk.....

Re: Pop out Switch Help
I think in the sticky portion there is listed a guy who rebuild them. You are looking at around $150ish, but you will never have a problem again, unlike the repops.
Mike p.s. Welcome to the barn.

Re: Pop out Switch Help
actually there is another alternative.. this is a fake pop out looking switch made by nurex USA and comes with an authentic looking cable... these particular switches are high quality unlike the cheaper ones..
the fake pop out can fool any judge Last edited by Mitch//pa; 09-09-2014 at 10:40 AM. |

I sprayed WD-40 on a handfull of hardware I had in a nice plastic container. The plastic container isn't so nice anymore. |

Re: Pop out Switch Help
We have the repo on several cars and no problems, we have pop outs that are restored and they work well, choice is yours it is a simple job to replace everything with new and be done.

A lot of good information here. If you buy a re-pro from Snyder's, it will cost you about $60 and shipping. It should work fine. If you have an original switch, you could put that money towards the repair of yours. Check with Crabtree for his price. Call him at 605-487-7229. Good luck and have fun with your car. Bill |
