Driving Miss Daisy
I'm trying to convince my wife that she would be far more comfortable in the rear of the Tudor when we go for a ride - but I think she is resisting because of the "Driving Miss Daisy" image. Do other wives share her concern, or is the rear seat a favored spot?

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
Funny, I drive Ms. Daisy (my late 31' Tudor's name)
I will say, after one year of Model A experience (driving etc.) I was very nervous at first driving but I'm much more relaxed at driving... The Model A was made to my understanding for comfort for the rear passengers first.

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
The only way my wife will sit in the back seat of the Tudor is when there is another couple accompanying us. She will do the guys up front, girls in the back so they can both comment on my driving.

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
I drive a Fordor; so it is very easy to get in the front or the back. But my wife won't ride in the back unless (like mention above) there are two couples.
I always tell her to ride up front with me anyway, so no one can call her a "back seat driver."

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
I should add: Besides the Tudor, we also have a 29 standard Fordor, and like Ron mentioned, same rule applies.

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
I also prefer the back seat. It's more comfortable and has so much more leg room.

Re: Driving Miss Daisy
My wife prefers to sit behind the steering wheel and drives and I sit beside her and I love it. She loves driving the Model A's ! Wayne
