New to the Game
I absolutely love working on my '29 Ford Tudor. Nice stress relief to go out to my shop and just tinker with it. I love reading the posts and threads on this site. I'm keeping the body original. It has a patina look about it. I did rebuild an engine and replaced a frozen one that came with the car. I love this.

Welcome, be sure and get the Les Andrew maint books. They're a wealth of info.
I've got an original '29 Tudor, too. A tinkerers delight! |

Re: New to the Game
My favorite car, before I got my 29 54A, was a 29 coupe that mechanically I rebuilt completely, put a new top and upholstery in, but otherwise left the exterior with its patina untouched. I could -and did- drive it all the time and everywhere. Unfortunately I had to sell it during hard financial times, but I still miss that car. Patina has a lot of appeal.

Re: New to the Game
I've been fooling around with old cars for a long time, and that advise about not throwing anything out is right on. Old original parts are a lot of times better than reproduction, and even if you don't use them they are good for reference. Like measuring them so you can figure out why the new part doesn't fit right!
