31 roadster door check straps

I What is the proper length for the door straps? Drake has multiple options foremthem and I'm not sure if the leather straps I have are correct or not.

Shorter straps are used with side mount spares. You would want to use the longest strap possible for ease of entry and exit.

I don't have side mounts and the 32 roadster uses 8 7/8 strap the next size down is 7.5 inches

I admire your '32. I've never seen a stock '32 roadster, and I've been playing with these old cars for over 50 years.

Thank you, it has been a fun project, I am still getting used to the v8 power in it .
still trying to get the bugs out ran it out of gas last week ironically on the way to the gas station.
