Autolite 4100
Hello all,
I posted this over at the HAMB as well, but want as many opinions as possible. I'm planning on using a 4100 on my 292 Y-block. I've heard really good things about reliability. Just wanted to hear some input from people using them. Lets hear em. I need to add that the 292 has been bored to a 301, with an Isky RPM-300 cam 112 degree centerline, 228 @.050 .448 lift intake and exhaust. "G" heads that have been gasket matched, larger truck exhaust manifolds. I'll be running a C4 trans. __________________

Re: Autolite 4100
I cant think of any reason why the 4100 wouldnt do the job, if it is in good shape, I am planning a blown flathead with a 1.12 4100 on it, be aware that there are two sizes a 480 cfm and a 600 cfm.

The 4100 is a very good carb . I have used them many times and are very reliable ! Just make sure you get the smaller one !
