Default Trico wiper motor

Hi, I want to rebuild a Trico wiper motor and I looked for a kit that included the slide valve, felt spacer, retainer, valve rocker, rocker home, and the rocker spring, in addition to the usual parts in the standard kit. Suppliers still sell the standard kit but the larger kit is out of stock and with no idea of when they will be available. So my question is, does anyone know of a suppler that still sells the larger kit? Does anyone know of someone who might have these individual parts that would be willing to sell them? Information and insight is appreciated.

Fricken Wiper service is the place to go to for service and repair of a Trico wiper motor. I have had three motors overhauled by them over the years. One just recently. Fricken bought out the inventory of Trico when they went out of business years ago.

Previous owner of my '31 had the vacuum wiper rebuilt by Ficken (wiperman.com, rebuildingtricowipers.com) in 2005, it's working and looking great.

I wish I could find someone to do the same service for the electric wiper motor from my '30.

To me an electric wiper is the way to go, unless you have a show car.

Are all of the parts that you mention gone ? Usually most of those would be refurbishable. I usually only replace the paddle seals and spring. Seals are in the rebuild kit. The spring, you could perhaps buy from McMaster Carr.
