Default Oil pressure in a 59ab v8

Hi guys I recently purchased a 1932 ford coupe with fully rebuilt 59ab,on startup we find oil pressure is about 70 Lb at idle and 90-100 Lb at revs ,is this to high? I was told oil pump was an after market one but am concerned pressure is too high , would I get a pressure reduction if I added a remote oil filter ? I am not overly mechanically minded but would appreciate any tips cheers Peatea
