Default Looking for a 30 Briggs T.S. Restorer

I need the outline of the back piece (Top) of the rear seat. If you have it, we'll work something (Make a drawing?) I have no other means to make the contours.

Yes !!! That's exactly the piece. Is there a relief on the edge on the back of the piece? (Approx. 1/8" X 3/4" to staple the fabric) Are the ends curved to match the curve of the body? What is the radius of the curve/contour?

This may help. Tacking relief is there. Curve to match body wood. Dont know radius but contoured to curve of the rear body wood.

There are 2 clips on the back side of the top of the backrest wood that slip into corresponding slots on the belt wood. The bottom of the backrest is fastened to body wood at the bottom with wood screws. Sorry, don't have pics of the clips.
Fabric material is fastened to the backrest wood with tacks as original.

Thanks for the pics! I was able to print them out. Now could I ask you for some dimensions? How wide? how high is the assy, How wide is the top piece at it's widest. Look in the pic album "My A" in my profile. I can't say where they are, but there are pics of my arm rest assy, both new and old. Also the front and rear seats. Thanks again!

Sorry Terry, the rear seat was installed about 5 years ago. I do not have dimensions of the wood frame. Pics of the original wood was taken at a friends shop and the wood is no longer available.

Ed, did you get over to your storage bin yet? I don't want to seem like i'm pushing you but I really could use those dimensions.

Terry,
First the disclaimer , our car is a Murray Body T.S., the seat springs are the same so another club member with a Briggs gave me his extra frame to see if it would fit the Murray Body, it does not, it is to wide. Was going to attach some photos but my PC does not want to read the card, will try my phone tomorrow. After looking at the angle cuts I think I would just bite the bullet and order one from LaBarron Bonney (sp).

Ed, Thanks for the drawings, They've got a lot of info in them. From what I read of L-Bs catalog, They don't sell it, Maybe I'm not interpreting it correctly, but that's how I'm reading it. L-B 2014 cat. This is questionable, I'm going to call them later. They list a backrest wooden frame, with folding center armrest for $70, Maybe, just maybe this is it. They'll be at Hershey and I can have one at least for show. This is a complex piece to shape and if it will save me any frustration, I'll go for it. Thanks again!
