Passengers Side Mirror
Is there any one makes a hinge pin mirror for the passengers side that the driver side can actually benefit from? Five inch would be nice. It's like the arm is to short. For my '31 Truck

Re: Passengers Side Mirror
On my pickup I use the hinge pin arm that Snyder's sell. They state that it is for the left side only, but it works on both sides. To overcome the "too short" thing, I use 6" convex mirrors on both sides. Works like a charm!

Re: Passengers Side Mirror
My mirrors on my glass wind wings. That moves them out.
I have two mirrors on the driver's side, one pointed normally and a lower one pointed to my rear fender and wheel. I use that one for backing into my garage. I can judge the location of the car to the garage door much better that way. I know that if I am a foot clear on the driver's side (left side) that the right side will have about a foot too. I also use that mirror when backing into a parking space. My pickup truck automatically adjusts the side mirrors on both sides lower when I go into reverse. One other thing that I do to make driving safer, and I do this on my modern cars too, is to aim the side mirrors out so that I can see any cars that would be in my blind spot. That has saved my ass several times when I was getting ready to pull into the other lane. I don't have to turn around to see the car there, just look in my mirror. The mirror in the center of the car looks to the rear so that I have all areas covered. Pointing the side mirrors out does the same thing as Carl G does with his convex mirrors. It also eliminates the need for extra long arms.
