Hello, New to T's
I am looking for my first model T. I do have experience with A'S.I am looking at a 23 and a 24 touring tomorrow. I hope my 6'2" legs will fit. I'm sure this forum will be a big help. Also know of a 26 coupe.

Re: Hello, New to T's
John if you have A experience you know where to look for a car. I've had a 27' Tudor and now a 23' Touring. We're about the same height and I think the 23' is slightly more accomodating to the taller person. Set a price in mind and stick to it. Whatever you do don't jump at the first thing you see as your selection of cars might be larger out there than the north east where I live. I guess it all depends on how much you want to do versus what you want to spend. Good hunting.

Re: Hello, New to T's
Either way, anyone in the 6 foot plus range isn't going to be very comfortable in the long haul in any Model T unless it's a speedster with the seat shoved back. That being said, I am 5'7" but on the stout side and I have this problem with the steering wheel constantly nudging my ample belly. When these cars were made comfort wasn't the main objective. Getting there was. And back then a 10 mile trip was a major excursion. I have seen some mighty tall men shoveled into 20's Model T's and somehow they manage just fine.

Re: Hello, New to T's
Hello John, First of all the T is a smaller car than what your used to in the modern car. They are a little hard to get squeezed into if your getting more portly as the years roll on as has happened to me. I find that I grumble getting in now an getting situated, but after that point I hardly notice after I get the Ol Doll out on the road and movein. I`m tryin to listen to the tell tale sounds of drivein an operation of the engine an wavein an grinnin stupidly. If you like one of them, take it home,it will be addictive and soon you will be lookin for another one for the stable. Wish you good luck and many years of enjoyment. Monte with about ten last count.( don`t tell my mama)

Re: Hello, New to T's
I'm 6' 4" and just bought my 1st T. I bought it over the internet from photos. It is a 1915 touring. Am I going to fit in this thing?

Re: Hello, New to T's
I can fit in a touring car just fine ,Knees up but not uncomfortable. I rode in the 23, but did not drive it as it seemed a little overpriced. Now I am seriously looking. Thanks all.
