original vs. repro ignition switch grommet
has anyone had a chance to compare these grommets i.e. the one that protects the armored cable coming through the terminal box? apparently the repro is the same grommet as used on the bracket that holds the negative battery cable but my suspicion is that the two were never really identical.....

If the SHOE fits, wear it.

Re: original vs. repro ignition switch grommet
The original battery cable rubber is still on my 28 and it's not a simple round hole. It has a rounded notch on each side for the terminal to fit through.
