Default Radiator mounting issues

So, after reading all the posts about using Vasaline, BrillCreme, WD40, whatever on the radiator hoses, I went to put the radiator in place. I got the bolt in place on one side, finger tight on the nut, then remembered that I had a fan shroud up in the rafters to put on. Off came the bolt & nut, finagled the shroud around the fan, and didn't ding up the radiator. So far so good...But, wait, there aren't any holes at the bottom of the radiator to match the shroud. Must be a replacement '29 radiator. Now to figure out a bracket/plate that will work. How tough is it to drill holes in the lower radiator mounting tabs?

Vern, It's as easy as when I fell off a log, with a backpack, into a small creek & had SOGGY SANDWICHES.

Could be the right radiator, but it was made after the shroud was eliminated sometime in very early 1929..

Yes, I have both radiators and they are the same except one has the two holes in the two bottom brackets. Just center punch and drill where the holes need to be for the shroud.

Vern, if you are unsure where to drill the holes on your side straps, come over and we can draw a template off of one of my radiators.
