Default '32 Five window regulator replacement

I need to remove the window regulator in my '32 Five window driver's door. I installed it a year or so ago but can't remember what it took to get it in and can't figure out how to get it out. It's complicated by a 4" chop.

Remove the interior handles and then the door panel. Make sure the window is rolled up. Remove all the screws that hold the regulator and drop the entire assembly into the bottom of the door. Slide the regulator from the channel and remove the regulator and then the glass.

It's easier if you disengage the regulator arms in a vertical position from the bottom of the horizontal steel channel that retains the bottom of the glass and prop up the glass and horizontal steel channel assembly with a piece of wood, remove the regulator, and lastly remove the glass assembly. That last step will be a challenge because of the 4" chop of the door window frame.

Dave has it almost verbatim from the Ford V8 Cars & Trucks book by Victor Page.

Coincidence, as I learned it by trial and error, a long, long time ago.

Just did that (TWICE !) on my 5 window.
I put new felt channels in and managed to damage one in the process.
Third Gen to the rescue with a new set and I got to do an instant replay!
David's method works fine.
The process is somewhat stressful as the whole time you're worried about breaking the glass.
