According to their current web site catalogue, LeBaron Bonney no longer offer the reproduction top irons and only two of the three wood bows (header and rear). Oak Bows in Pennsylvania is a likely source for a complete set of bows.

I'm not sure if anyone is reproducing the top irons at the present time, but there is a supposedly never-used set of reproduction top irons currently listed on ebay with two days to run. The item number is 323341392540.

The top Bows came from the Amish area and I was there when we found the supplier to make them. Long interesting story and trip. Was a challenge(sp?) to get them made. Kerk

Try contacting Superior Car Parts Inc in Mokena, IL. Call 708-390-0377 or email them at [email protected] for current prices and questions. I had heard that they had gone out of business, but I believe that they were only in the process of moving from Delphi, IN to Mokena, IL.

They are the manufacturer of 30s and 40s Ford open car top irons and windshield posts. They are the primary supplier to most, if not all, of the early Ford parts vendors.

Their top irons are available either in steel or polished stainless steel. I believe that they purchase the wood headers and bows from Oak Bows as mentioned by DavidG.

Brookville Roadster is in the process of building them for the 32. They have been doing them for the model A for some time.

I am actively working on the 1932 top irons. I expect production irons in 60-90 days. Photos are of a prototype.

I intend to offer as:
Standard (black powder coat finish)
Deluxe (yellow/tan powder coat on upper irons with stainless main arm)
Street Rod (polished stainless)

I will have 2" chop irons at the same time, these are designed so when folded the front of the irons does not intrude into the door opening.

Pricing will be determined by cost, not quite there yet.

Karl ,
They look great! Hopefully you will be able to expand to more years and body style offerings.
