Renners manifold to carb gasket
Just rebuilt my carb with a kit from Renners - and I must admit I have never seen a gasket like this before.
It appears to be two layers of copper swaged together in the middle with a foam type separator. Is this representative of the original gasket used? Or is this some type of modern gasket used to minimize heat travel to the carb? Any insight greatly appreciated. |

Re: Renners manifold to carb gasket
They are good gaskets to use / much better than the thin paper which usually don't seal good .... The copper style is available from the other suppliers as well

Re: Renners manifold to carb gasket
Copper sandwich is the original style and I use them all the time.
