With respect, only very early passenger car/commercial vehicle chassis frame front cross members were briefly unique between fours and V-8s. While there were many changes to the center cross member early in the '32 model year, at any point in time they were common for the two engine types.

I agree with David on this one but out of curiosity how do you think they are slightly different?

There was a discussion here the other day i thought about crossmember (K member) w/pictures showing diff location for holes for chatter rods on a "B" vs V8. Maybe this is what he's referring to?

Probably for what you are doing the answer is that there is no difference. If you are doing a high point restoration on a very early car there are slight differences. The engine steady rods are in different locations but except for a very few early ones all of the holes are there. If they are missing, get out the drill.

Sorry guys. I guess I mis-spoke. I was going from memory and was thinking about what I had read several years ago in the book "How To Build a Traditional A-V8 Ford Hot Rod" by Mike Bishop and Vern Tardel. In fact (I just looked it up) on page 29 they diagram the right leg, which according to them is different between the 4 and the 8. The rest of the k-member appears to be the same. As you have pointed out it would not matter much in a 32 frame.
