36 Club Cabriolet Top Question
Can anyone show me a photo/drawing of where the small loops are screwed to the metal top panel and which top bow they are wrapped over.
Have no clue and my rear panels have so many screw holes in them I can't tell where the loops were positioned and cannot tell which top bow to restrain. I understand the loops are also used for leather door restraints. thank you in advance for help/advice. Larry

Re: 36 Club Cabriolet Top Question
Can you post a photo of the loops in question? Are they for a "hold-down"? I do not believe the loops are used for the 36 door (Maybe Model A). They had metal arms with rubber bumpers. I do not believe the 36 top used these loops.

Re: 36 Club Cabriolet Top Question
You are right, they are the hold downs also used on model a. Just a simple metal loop.
The loops were on the car when I got it but no straps or hold downs. The loops are necessary to keep the bows and top stable at high way speed it think. Kind of like a safety strap.
