compression test gauge
I am wondering what you guys are using to test compression. The kits I see are expensive and don't have a 7/8" capability. I imagine that it would be required to wrap several layer of tape around the adapter.

I'm sure you wouldn't have to look far to find one of those old plugs that you can take apart. Take the bottom part and use it as an adaptor.

I don't care if they are off a bit as long as they are consistent. The center can be knocked out of an old sparkler and used for the adapter. |
