41 woodie rear fenders
Not many threads in fender liner to screw fender attaching bolts to. So found some tee nuts instead for several of them. Welded some in and pop riveted in others. Have had to mount fender many times due to holes not aligning so wore out some of the threads.

Re: 41 woodie rear fenders
I have seen several different types of nut's used for that application. The only requirement is that they clear the relief holes in the quarter panel, wood arch over the fenders. I also used "T" nut's from McMaster-Carr on my '46'.

Re: 41 woodie rear fenders
My 40 has studs there. Do 41s have bolts? either way, do the next guy who removes the fender a favor and coat the bolt or nut threads with Never seize or home made oil and aluminum powder mixed into a paste. The wheel throws water and dirt right at those attachments.
