Default help to ID these coach lamps

Just over from the E-V8 side and was wondering if anyone can ID these lamps and give me a rough idea of the value for resale. Glass is all there but most should be replaced. Thanks Bill

I don't know what they are but I'd sure like to have them. I'd give you a little more than I'd give Pete for that steering wheel.

They are not Model T, but they are interesting looking. It might be a little difficult to get that glass replaced since it is curved and beveled.

I saw a horse drawn hearse a couple years ago with those lights on it.

Are these oil or electric? They open from the back side, but I have seen some like this that were converted to electric. The mounting bracket looks like it would attach to a trim rod instead of a windshield post. Nice lights. Good luck in your search.

Rule of thumb is that lamps that mount on a tapered post are horsedrawn. They found out early on that with the vibrations from an engine no amount of tightening would prevent the lamps from rotating on their posts. Car builders quickly went to the tapered flat blade for mounting lamps. Sometimes you will find a transitional lamp that will mount on either.

Agree

Appear not automotive, but fancy horse carriage. Maybe not royal....but pretty nice with bevel glass.

These may be neither oil or electric but candle. The bottom does not appear to be removable to refill an oil font ( reservoir).
