Back in the 70's just a couple months before I started working at the Chevy dealership, one of the mechanics dumped a plumbing cube truck off the lift and it took out the next two cars down the line. They fell like dominoes, and he was fired on the spot.

Bill, black is too hot, and too hard to keep clean.

Back in 1968 I was working at a Chevron Station. Came to work the next morning and there was a chevy truck with a Skaug utility bed, laying on its side between the 2 hoist. The owner was an electrician. Electrical fittings, wire nuts, and you name it, were laying all over the floor. Very entertaining watching the tow truck trying to get that truck out. Was not really surprised at the knucklehead that dropped it. He was missing two fingers on one hand but made up for it else where. He had 6 toes on his right foot and an extra testicle. Go figure.
I say keep it white, Mitch.

Black is beautiful, as long as it is clean and polished. You need a lot of time and effort to keep a black daily driver pretty. White is a good choice for a tow vehicle IMO.

Sorry, looks like I mis-read your post. I tow with an F-350 diesel, and love it!

Going to say if you're in the need, the F650/F750 are now made in Avon Ohio at the formally last Econoline plant...

I may have to take Ms. Daisy on a drive by that plant.. about 15 miles from me..
