Default 68C on NJ Craigslist

FWIW, not my car.

68C on Craigslist

If it is the car I looked at once it was an older restoration by a guy who did not know all the right 68C parts. Restored in a vacuum. So the floor pans are plywood and other things like that that were not correct. He started with a fairly complete car that had rust.

I forget the condition of the metal as this was quite a while (like 10 years) ago.

A few years ago I called to see how it was going and was told the father was very sick.

So it is a car that might be sort of drivable, but in need of a correct restoration.

I want to add a definition of "sort of drivable", by that I mean it runs but was put together with not all new parts and is a 45 MPH top speed kind of car. That based on what I saw, not actual driving.

If you are in the market it would be a car worth looking at, as to value you would have to determine that.

Thanks for the 'heads up'. These kind of posts are very helpful for those of us who are in need of all the 'buyer beware' warnings that today's world demands of us.

Still, it's a 68C at a reasonable price. JMO

I think it's a deal even if it needs restoration it looks fairly decent
I paid less than half of that but I have 2100 in wood plus plating on parts
That's a less than average model a price for one of the most desirable and rarer body styles .
